FOUNDER, BOARD CHAIR

Susie has been a pastry chef, author, and educator for over 20 years. She served as Chef/Instructor at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and now teaches classes in culinary techniques, baking, and sustainability. She has published three books (learn more here) and won IACP Digital Media Award for her food blog Food Market Gypsy. She has also worked as a television executive and educational fundraiser. Susie is a graduate of Boston College and Berkshire School, where she serves on the Advisory Board. She is connected to the farm-to-table cultures of Boston and the Berkshires through her work at Egremont Hill Farm, Inc.

CLERK, BOARD MEMBER

Natalie is Susie’s daughter and brings compassion and commitment to the underserved. She is a therapist who serves at-risk youth and is deeply committed to Egremont Hill Farm’s mission and her Berkshire roots. She supervises communications and operations for Egremont Hill Farm and holds an MSW from Columbia University.

TREASURER, BOARD MEMBER

Charlotte is a dear family friend who brings a dynamic approach to our mission. She is a product designer who has successfully managed community-building projects that address food insecurity. She is a Washington University graduate and is working toward her MBA in Social Impact and Entrepreneurship at the University of California, Los Angeles.

BOARD MEMBER

Thomas is Susie’s son and supervises the environmental advocacy of the organization’s mission. Thomas is an Eviction Defense Attorney at Inner City Law Center in Los Angeles and a graduate of Berkeley School of Law and Middlebury College.

Sam is Susie's son. He is a physician in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) on the Clinician Educator Track, and he supervises Egremont Hill Farm’s nutrition initiatives. He completed medical school at Emory University and his residency at the University of Florida.
