Egremont Hill Farm addresses food insecurity and farmland conservation. As a non-profit orchard, we deliver organic produce directly to food pantries in the picturesque yet fragile Berkshire hills. We harvest apples, pears, peaches, and more in Egremont, MA with the help of friends and volunteers. We deliver to The People’s Pantry and other food distribution sites, and we sell organic pastries made with local ingredients at farmers' markets to support the planting and care of more trees. Native trees, pollinating plants, and sustainable farming practices keep our orchard vibrant.

Mother/Daughter Family Farm.

Egremont Hill Farm is run by Chef Susie Norris and her daughter, Natalie Epstein. What began as a hayfield on an old dairy farm has been lovingly transformed into a regenerative orchard producing heritage fruit for the surrounding community. Susie and her family have been stewards of the orchard for over 30 years. As a pastry chef, cookbook author, and educator with decades of experience in food and fundraising, Susie brings both the practical knowledge and the community relationships needed to grow the farm's mission. As a social worker and food justice advocate, Natalie brings community-building experience and an eye for impact to the farm and local initiatives. Her brothers, Thomas and Sam, are California-based professionals and board members.

At Egremont Hill Farm, nothing goes to waste. The orchard is built with regenerative practices, and the farmhouse kitchen produces classic French-style pastries and confections with elevated nutritional value. The family is delighted to share the land's bounty!
